In 2013 Anna directed Tomorrow I’ll Be Happy by Jonathan Harvey for Lost Theatre, as part of the National Theatre Connections Scheme, with a group of 16 – 18 year olds from various areas of London with mixed acting experience. The challenging play, which followed a group of young people in the aftermath of a homophobic hate crime, played at Lost Theatre and transferred to Soho Theatre for one night. Lost’s production was then chosen as one of 10 shows out of 230 across the country to be on at The National Theatre as part of the National Theatre Connections Festival.
The Financial Times said “Homosexuality – a tricky subject – is handled bravely in this stylish production by London’s LOST Theatre.” It was on previously at Lost Theatre (February) and Soho Theatre (April). See Anna talking about it here.
